Get Out & Do More + Keep P*H*I*T with Connect this Autumn
28 August 2007
Getting CONNECT-ed to exciting and fun activities has never been easier as the standard phrase ‘there’s nothing to do’ is a thing of the past for Bromley’s teenagers.
Connect's exciting programmes this Autumn include activities that will help young people keep active, have fun, meet new friends and learn new skills. Connect activities include: Archery, Arts, Basketball, Street Dance and StreetP*H*I*T, Self-Defence, trampolining, Teen tennis and so much more – all within easy to access Bromley Mytime facilities across Bromley.
Popular Street Dance sessions offered at Langley Park Sports Centre throughout the summer have led to huge demand for term-time courses, with future sessions teaching teenagers moves Rianna or Ciara could be using in their next video.
Football Freestyler v 5 a-side Futsal also developed through the summer and proved highly popular. This session combines two of the most current football styles on offer. These drop-in sessions at the Pavilion Leisure Centre provide a positive, safe venue for teenagers on Friday nights throughout the Autumn term, with a further chance to compete and become 'Master of the Ball' in December.
P*H*I*TGym offers young people the opportunity to work-out regularly at in Bromley Mytime’s modern gyms, with qualified P*H*I*T instructors.
For the next Tiger Woods, Bromley Golf Centre are offering group coaching sessions, to help young people have fun and improve their golf with friends.
Activities are planned at times when young people want something to do and parents want activities for them to do – including Friday nights, evenings, weekdays and even weekends!
