Mytime website – now even more accessible!

As part of our commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity for everyone, the Equality Action Group commissioned IT specialists AWP to review our site for ease of use. As a result of this review, some changes have been made in order to improve accessibility. Most of these changes will not be noticeable but if you have visited this website before you may notice some colour changes on the Home page and new icons next to external website links (this indicates that the link will open a new window). 

The changes should make it easier for the visually-impaired to use the website by increasing colour contrasts in places where it was highlighted as poor, providing different style options and making changes to document structure to ensure that it can be read by JAWS screen reader. Other changes will also make it easier for keyboard-only users to view the website. We have also flagged up external links, increased the prominence of the Bromley Council link on the home page and increased the displays of changing photo galleries and other images.
