1. Do I have to be fit to join the gym?

No, no matter how active your lifestyle at the moment we offer a range of activities for all abilities.  

2. How much will it cost to use the gym?

All new users must have an induction costing £25 for a member and £27.50 for non members. There are then various ways you can pay such as taking out a centre membership costing £32 per year and then pay £5.70 per visit, paying our concessionary rate costing £19 per month (subject to proof of concession) or taking out our Activetime membership costing £430 a year (or £43.00 per month). Non-members pay £6.80 per visit

3. How old do I have to be?

From the age of 11 you can use the gym and attend group exercise classes. We have a specialist programme for young people aged 11 - 15 called P*H*I*T. There are P*H*I*T gym session and P*H*I*T group exercise sessions.

4. What do I need to wear?

For use of the gym and exercise classes a tee-shirt and shorts or tracksuit bottoms are recommended. Supportive footwear such as trainers should be worn and swimming costumes must be worn for all aqua based classes and swimming. Always remember to bring water with you to the exercise classes.  

5. Can I get Personal Training?

Yes, we offer specialised 1-2-1 personal training to keep you motivated, measure your progress and help you reach your goals. Personal Training sessions cost £30 for a member and £35 for non members. If you book 5 sessions you get the 6th session free!
