Bromley Mytime delivers cricket in partnership with Bromley District Cricket Coaching (BDCC), with the aim of increasing the number of people playing cricket and to improve the overall standard across the Borough.

BDCC is responsible for cricket coaching and development within the borough and runs open and representative courses, schools courses for both boys and girls, disability cricket and developing close links between schools and clubs. Festivals and competitions are organised throughout the year for all ages.
Schools Coaching
Cricket is delivered in both primary and secondary schools through Bromley District Cricket Coaching scheme (BDCC). A range of coaching packages are delivered specifically for schools including curriculum time coaching, breakfast/after school and lunch time clubs. Primary school sessions are delivered in the form of Kwik Cricket covering basic cricketing skills including, batting, bowling, and fielding. Secondary school sessions are delivered in the form of Inter-Cricket or Hard Ball Cricket.
BDCC organises Primary school festival(s) for mixed boys’ and girls’ teams, with the overall winner representing the Borough in the Kent Primary Schools Festival.
Facilities Coaching
Bromley Mytime and Bromley District Cricket Coaching work in partnership to deliver a full indoor winter cricket coaching programme for 4 – 18 year olds in leisure and sport centres across the borough. There is also a comprehensive facilities based summer programme running at selected sites across Bromley Mytime for 4 – 9 year olds.

Bromley Mytime and Bromley District Cricket Coaching work in partnership to deliver courses in Bromley Mytime Leisure Centres during the school holidays.

Bromley District Development Group
Formed of representatives from local clubs, schools, coaches, officials, Bromley Mytime and the District Cricket Development Officer; the group maintains and implements a District Development Plan for cricket in Bromley which ensures a unified approach at local, county and National levels.
