The Pavilion Leisure Centre in Bromley has become the first Bromley Mytime leisure facility to receive the prestigious ‘Quest’ award.

Things that go bump in the afternoon
This October half term Bromley is bracing itself for hundreds of witches, ghosts and ghouls to make an appearance at the buzz Halloween Spooktacular. The Halloween Spooktacular is four afternoons of FUN, FANTASY & FANGS for under 11s and takes place at Bromley’s premier soft play centres; Adventure Kingdom in Bromley next to the Civic Centre and Space Zone at the Spa in Beckenham.
Walnuts provides more time to swim
The Walnuts Leisure Centre in Orpington is opening up for more public swimming and a new Aqua Fit programme. Bromley Mytime, the charitable leisure trust, operates these facilities in partnership with Bromley Council, has been consulting with customers throughout the summer and is now adapting its programme accordingly.
Bromley’s young people are being given the chance to earn some extra cash just for talking. Connect, the FREE new scheme for teenagers that is sweeping Bromley is recruiting for a ‘Connect Focus Group’ to help develop the scheme and to ensure youngsters in Bromley have a say in what’s on offer.
Connect, the free leisure card for 11-19 year olds brought together competition winners at the Churchill Theatre last week to see the opening of the ‘Broadway’ show – a review of hit musicals. The winners were given exclusive treatment with a photo call beforehand and a VIP area during the interval.
