The No Limits scheme is a partnership between Bromley Mytime and other key agencies, with the aim of improving sport and leisure opportunities for disabled young people and adults in the Bromley area. Some examples of key work areas are:
Raising the awareness of funding opportunities for individuals and groups eg Bromley Disability Trust
Raising the profile of sport and leisure through the No-Limits Leisure Guide
Working in partnership with special schools/units, day centres, clubs and local groups to open up more opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in sport and active recreation; and participation in competitive opportunities, eg: London Youth Games.
Working with Social Services & Housing Day Services to develop the Leisurecare scheme across Bromley Mytime facilities.
It gives a comprehensive list of leisure and active recreation opportunities based in and around Bromley, including, facilities, sports, arts, social opportunities and some useful links to local and national agencies.
Copies can be obtained from Bromley Library, or by emailing louise.o'callaghan@bromleymytime.org.uk.
