Swimathon 2008 - Bromley Mytime Raises £20, 664.08 for Charity

Local swimmers and leisure centre staff took the plunge at 4 of Bromley’s Swimming Pools for Swimathon 2008, the world’s largest swimming fundraising event and raised £20,664.08 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and The Swimathon Foundation.

Lane counters and other helpers also contributed to what was a great team effort to raise an amount that was an improvement on last year's figure.

The dates for Swimathon 2009 are 16 to 19 April and registration has already started. If you are interested in particpating, contact your nearest leisure centre.
