Bromley Tennis Centre Providing Ace Opportunities for Wheelchair Users

12 February 2007

Kent Open Day

Following the hugely successful wheelchair tennis open day in Bromley last year, which was attended by Peter Norfolk MBE, Great Britain's first ever Paralympic Tennis gold medallist, Bromley Mytime continues to host weekly wheelchair tennis sessions, supported by the British Tennis Foundation, Kent Lawn Tennis Association and Kent Sports Development Unit.

Players of all ages are welcome and the first session is free to encourage new players to  come along and give this fun social sport a go. Coaching is delivered by Dean Roser, LTA qualified coach who, since starting the wheelchair sessions last year, has enjoyed the challenge of adapting the game and working with the players to increase their skill and enjoyment of the sport.

Sessions run every Monday from 4.30pm to 6.00pm on the indoor courts at Bromley Tennis Centre at Newstead, Avebury Road, Orpington, BR6 9SA. To register for a session or to find out more, please contact Dean Roser at Bromley Tennis Centre on 01689 880407.
